Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026. This policy explains how QLGM VISION handles data when users connect Google Drive to share, import, or retrieve QLGM analysis packages.

Data processed by QLGM VISION

QLGM VISION may process Google account information needed for OAuth authorization; Google Drive files selected, created, opened, or shared through QLGM VISION; QLGM analysis packages; analysis metadata; tags; descriptors; associated players; written notes; audio notes; presentations; optional media included by the user; and recipient email addresses when the user shares files with contacts or groups.

How the data is used

QLGM VISION uses this data to authenticate the user, upload, download, import, or export QLGM packages, create Google Drive sharing links or permissions, and display or retrieve files explicitly chosen by the user.

Google API data usage

QLGM VISION uses Google API data only for the user-facing Drive features described in this policy. Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The application uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This scope limits Drive access to files the user creates, opens, selects, or shares with QLGM VISION.

Storage

OAuth tokens are stored locally in the secure storage provided by the user's operating system or keychain when available. QLGM analyses remain in the user's local environment unless the user explicitly chooses to share them. Files shared through Google Drive are stored in the user's Google Drive.

Sharing

QLGM does not sell user data. QLGM VISION shares Drive files only with recipients selected by the user. Google Drive remains the storage provider when the user chooses to use Drive for sharing or retrieval.

User control and deletion

Users can delete shared files directly from Google Drive, revoke QLGM VISION access from their Google Account, and disconnect Google Drive inside the application.

Security

These public web pages are served over HTTPS in production. QLGM VISION applies the principle of least privilege for Google Drive and requests only the drive.file access needed for files used with the application.
